| General:
A Graphical User Interface (GUI) is allows Administrative functions to be performed on the
live CallHandler System over a secure LAN/WAN network using browser-based controls.
Main features of Controls are: - Any individual with authorised access permissions may perform configuration on the CallHandler CT server either locally or remotely using these tools. In this way, any CallHandler CT server may be entirely administered and maintained remotely following a successful physical installation
·
- Capability to Administer the card at Port or Individual Timeslot level
·
- The Control allows at-a-glance representation of the status of the CallHandler
·
- The Control has a dynamic self-configuration capability to allow differing numbers and types of resources per chassis
·
- Drag and drop configuration facility to enable ease of use
· Built-in help file with graphical step-by-step operation procedures
·
- All the Configuration and Control Devices generates a logging file of their activity. The logging may be adjusted to show varying degrees of detail from basic device information to highly detailed internal device data. This capability is excellent for tracking system inconsistencies and fault finding.
Service Manager Control:
The Service Manager Configuration Tool will allow services (applications for example) to be added, removed, started, stopped, disabled or configured on the CallHandler CT server by the CallHandler Service Manager. A service is any application running on the CallHandler, such as Conferencing, FAX, SoftPBX and Test programs. Services can be loaded, started, shutdown and unloaded without stopping the CallHandler. Dragging and dropping the services into the relevant location accomplishes this. Multiple instances of the service can be run Configuration Tool Control:
The differing cards, which may be used in the CallHandler CT server, will require differing firmware to be loaded and configured in order to function correctly. The Call Control Configuration Tool will allow firmware to be loaded and configured on the cards on a port-by-port basis and then restarted automatically to implement the fresh configuration used.
Pika Call Control Device Control:
The Pika Call Control Configuration Tool will allow reporting of the currently loaded and configured firmware on the cards and the logging level the Pika Call Control Device employs. Prosody Call Control Device Control:
The Prosody Device Configuration Tool will allow firmware to be loaded and configured on the cards on a module-by-module basis. CallHandler Route Manager Device Control:
CallHandler is a software platform for running and managing telephone based applications on the CallHandler Computer Telephony (CT) server. The platform comprises of devices, managers and services, which may be combined to provide a limitless range of potential applications. The CallHandler Route Manager Device is used by the platform to control the internal messaging which allows all the CallHandler devices, managers and services to communicate with each other. The Route Manager Configuration Tool will allow the CallHandler CT server to be configured to use specific bus types in preference to others to support the internal CallHandler Messaging System.
TCP/IP Message Router Device Control:
The CallHandler TCP/IP Message Router Device allows CallHandler to listen for TCP/IP packets arriving on a specified IP port on the CallHandler CT server. The TCP/IP Message Router may be configured to limit the number of remote users who may connect to the CallHandler CT server and send TCP/IP messages. The TCP/IP Message Router buffers the received messages in a queue to allow large volumes of messages to be transmitted if required. The buffer has a maximum and minimum message limit that is also fully configurable. The TCP/IP Message Router Configuration Tool will allow the configuration of the CallHandler TCP/IP Message Router Devices buffer thresholds and client connection limit. |
