| Custom
Call Management Systems, Achieved through the Integration of Computer and
Telephone Networks |
 |
 TECHNOLOGY OVERVIEW

CallHandler is a customisable, Microsoft NT based Industrial PC,
which forms a bridge between Computer Networks, such as WANs, and a
Public/Private Telephone Networks. This means the telephone voice, or data
traffic, can be controlled and monitored by either CallHandler or any computer
on the WAN network.
So for example where the system is being used as a Conference
Bridge, the conference can be controlled from either a Corporate WAN, or by
someone at home logged onto the Corporate WAN via a dial-up link, or even from
home via the Internet. You just have to "Imagine the Possibilities" arising
from having voice and computer networks integrated, and CallHandler can be
configured accordingly. CallHandler is capable of supporting up to 2,400 lines
on a single PC Chassis. 'Configurable
Functionality Coupled to High Call Density in a Compact Solution'
Call Management and Control is the process by which a
telephone switch passes certain information to a computer allowing the computer
and/or an individual to better manage the calls. The benefits of this
Computer-Telephony Integration (CTI) are that computers are world standards,
they can log data, are cost effective, they run scripts, network with other
computers, connect over the Internet, send Email and FAXes, recognise voice,
offer graphical interfaces for control and monitoring purposes and can be
controlled and updated remotely - and much, much more. CallHandler is a
pre-configurable Call Management and Control Computer.
Customised solutions are provided on ready-to-run industrial
PC based Windows 2000 platforms. Up to 2,400 simultaneous calls per
single PC can be controlled. Applications are built using the control
script and a combination of hardware and software
modules which provide specific
functionality, and typically result in data being transferred from or to a
LAN/WAN Database.
So, if you want to manage a small or large number of calls
CallHandler is the solution.
'
Tell us your application and we will show you a cost effective solution.'
The telephony hardware is based upon Aculab's Prosody card.
Prosody is the first speech processing platform to integrate record/replay,
pulse and tone detection, matrix conferencing, and speech recognition. Prosody
delivers up to 120 channels per PC card, giving from 4 to 2,400 channel
per PC capability.
