Remote Office Voice Communications via VoIP

{Voice Over IP}

The diagram above shows how the office telephones of two remote offices with existing PBX systems can be connected using VoIP over a Managed Data Network. In the diagram above, telephone calls between the two offices are normally made using the Public Service Telephone Network. This means calls between offices are at International Telephone Rates. These two PBXs, and associated telephone extensions, can be interconnected transparently to the user by using VoIP over the managed network. This means that audio calls between offices can be made with significant cost savings.

The diagram below shows the detail of the CallHandler CT Hardware and Software used in the above schematic. This diagram serves to show that there are many options available for CallHandler VoIP CT Server. Both hardware and software modules can be added to suit differing requirements. For example, Audio Conferencing can be added to the system that is available by both offices, as can Voice Mail, and FAX. It is also possible to add features such as visual data exchange between desktop PC's during telephone conversations, for training and discussion purposes for example. The possibilities are endless.
